Agreeing to these terms

Vamaksha is a business based in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Vamaksha, and "you" means anyone who visits vamaksha.com or places an order with us.

By using this website, placing an order, or accepting a report from us, you agree to everything on this page. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not place an order.

These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are ordering a report for someone else, you confirm that you have their permission to share their birth details with us and to receive their report on their behalf.

What we sell

We sell personalised Vedic astrology reports, delivered as digital PDF documents. Each report is generated specifically for the birth details you submit — it is not a stock file, and it does not exist before you order it.

A report may run to many pages and cover areas such as planetary positions, dashas, doshas, remedies and general life guidance, depending on which report you buy. The exact contents of each report are described on its own product page, and that description is what you are buying.

Where we offer a printed copy, the printed version contains the same content as the digital one and is dispatched separately.

Details you give us

Your report is calculated entirely from the date, time and place of birth you enter. Astrological calculation is sensitive to all three — a few minutes' difference in birth time can change the ascendant and therefore much of the analysis.

If you spot a mistake in the details you submitted, write to us immediately at vamaksha.com@gmail.com. If we have not yet generated your report, we will correct it at no charge. Once the report has been generated and delivered, a corrected version is treated as a fresh order.

Prices and taxes

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless the product page says otherwise. We may change prices, run offers, or withdraw a product at any time, but a change will never affect an order you have already paid for.

If a price is displayed incorrectly because of a technical error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than supply at the wrong price. We will tell you before we do this.

Payment

Payment is taken in full before we begin work on your report. We accept the methods shown at checkout, processed by an RBI-authorised payment gateway on its own secure systems. Your card, UPI and bank credentials go directly to the gateway and are never seen or stored by us.

An order is confirmed only when the payment succeeds and you receive our confirmation. If your money is debited but you receive no confirmation, contact us with the transaction reference and we will trace it.

Delivery

Digital reports are delivered to the email address you gave at checkout, and where you have shared a number, on WhatsApp as well. Delivery normally takes [[ 24 to 48 hours ]] from confirmed payment. Complex or manually reviewed reports may take longer, and we will tell you if yours will.

If your report has not arrived within the stated window, please check your spam and promotions folders first, then write to us. We will resend it.

Delivery is complete when the report reaches your email or WhatsApp, or when a download link is made available to you — whichever happens first. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by a wrong email address, a full inbox, or your provider's spam filter.

Printed copies, where offered, are dispatched by courier to the address you provide and are subject to that courier's timelines.

Refunds and cancellations

Before your report is generated

If you write to us before we have generated your report, we will cancel the order and refund you in full. Since generation often begins within minutes of payment, please contact us as quickly as possible.

Where we will always refund you

The clause above does not take away your rights where we are at fault. We will refund you in these situations:

Duplicate payment

You were charged twice for the same order. We refund the extra amount.

Non-delivery

We failed to deliver your report and cannot resolve it after you have contacted us.

Wrong report

We sent a report for the wrong person, or a different product from the one you bought, and cannot correct it.

Corrupt file

The file will not open and we cannot supply a working copy.

To claim, email vamaksha.com@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order reference and a description of the problem. We reply within 48 hours. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days, and the time it then takes to appear depends on your bank.

What is not a ground for refund

• You disagree with the predictions, or the report did not say what you hoped it would
• The remedies suggested did not produce the outcome you wanted
• You submitted the wrong birth date, time or place
• You changed your mind after receiving the report
• You did not read the product description before buying

Printed copies

A printed copy that arrives damaged or is lost in transit will be replaced free of charge if you tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs where the item is damaged. Printed copies are not returnable for any other reason, as each one is printed to order.

How you may use your report

Your report is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may read it, print it, and keep your own copies.

You may not resell it, republish it, share it publicly, upload it to file-sharing or document sites, or use it as material for your own astrology service. You may not remove our branding from it or present its contents as your own work.

Our brand and content

The Vamaksha name and logo, this website's design and text, our report formats and templates, and the wording of our analyses belong to us and are protected by Indian copyright and trade mark law. Nothing on this site gives you the right to use them without our written permission.

If you believe something on our site infringes your rights, write to us with details and we will look into it promptly.

What you must not do

• Submit false, stolen or someone else's payment details
• Submit another person's birth details without their permission
• Copy, scrape, mirror or automatically harvest content from this website
• Attempt to break into, overload or interfere with our website or systems
• Impersonate Vamaksha, or set up a business, page or domain designed to be mistaken for ours
• Raise a chargeback on a report that was correctly delivered to you, instead of contacting us first

We may cancel orders, block access and take legal action where any of this happens.

Guidance, not professional advice

Our reports are offered for guidance, reflection and personal interest. They are not a substitute for professional advice, and we do not present them as one.

Nothing in a report is medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice. Do not delay seeing a doctor, stop a prescribed treatment, make a legal or financial decision, or take any significant step in your life on the strength of a report alone. Please consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.

Astrology is a traditional practice and its predictions are not scientifically verifiable. We make no promise that any prediction will come true or that any remedy will produce a particular result. Every decision you take after reading a report is your own.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent Indian law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost income, lost opportunity, business losses, or emotional distress — arising from your use of a report or of this website.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

Your responsibility to us

If we face a claim, loss or legal cost because you broke these terms, submitted someone else's details without permission, or misused a report, you agree to cover that cost.

Things outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control — internet or hosting outages, failures at a payment gateway or courier, power cuts, natural disasters, strikes, or government action. Where such an event delays your report, we will deliver it as soon as we reasonably can.

Refusing or ending service

We may decline or cancel an order where we suspect fraud, where the details submitted are clearly false, where a customer has been abusive to our team, or where we cannot lawfully fulfil the order. If we cancel before delivery, we refund you in full.

Privacy

How we collect, use, store and delete your personal information — including your birth details — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The revised version applies from the day we post it, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in force on the day you paid, so it is worth reading this page before each purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

Before going to court, please raise the matter with us using section 20. Most problems are settled far more quickly that way.
